Royal Enfield legt mit der Shotgun nach
Royal Enfield, im vergangenen Jahr immerhin die Nummer elf auf dem deutschen Markt, erweitert seine Twin-Baureihe um die Shotgun 650. Das Derivat im Custom-Style fällt unter anderem durch seine besonderen Lackierungen und den als Schwingsattel dargestellten Einzelsitz auf. Das Soziuskissen ist abnehmbar. Die Shotgun erhält eine spezifische Fahrwerksabstimmung und hinten eine 17-Zoll-Bereifung. Wie Interceptor, Continental GT und Super Meteor sorgt auch hier der 648-Kubik-Zweizylinder mit knapp 48 PS (34,6 kW) für Vortrieb. Das Cockpit umfasst, wie bei allen Modellen, auch eine Turn-by-turn-Navigation. Fahrfertig wiegt die Shotgun 240 Kilogramm, die Sitzhöhe beträgt 79,5 Zentimeter, der Tank fast 14 Liter.
Die Preise für die in drei Farbvariationen erhältliche neue Enfield beginnen bei 7590 Euro. (aum)
