Toyota GT86 flirtet mit dem Shooting-Brake-Konzept
Premiere in Down under: In Australien stellte Toyotas GT86-Chefingenieur Tetsuya Tada jetzt als Konzeptfahrzeug eine „Shooting Brake“-Version des Sportwagens GT86 vor. Entworfen und entwickelt hat den Prototyp das Produktdesign-Team von Toyota Australia, gebaut wurde er in Japan und zwar in Handarbeit in der globalen Sportwagen-Abteilung von Toyota. Der „Shooting Brake“ verbindet das Styling des sportlichen Coupés mit den praktischen Vorzügen eines Fließhecks mit mehr Kopffreiheit im Innenraum des Viersitzers und einem größeren Kofferraum.
