EICMA 2021: Auf die Meteor folgt die Classic 350
Es war nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis Royal Enfield nach dem Aus der 500er wieder ein klassisches Modell präsentieren würde. Auf der EICMA (–28.11.2021) in Mailand feiert die Classic 350 ihre Europapremiere. Das neue Modell baut, wie sollte es anders sein, auf der Meteor auf. Das bedeutet aber auch lediglich 20 PS und 27 Newtonmeter Drehmoment sowie ein Fünf-Gang-Getriebe. Ein digital-analoges Multifunktionsinstrument mit LCD-Informationspanel sowie ein USB-Ladeanschluss sorgen für den nötigen Schuss Modernität im Retro-Bike, während beispielsweise der Killschalter wie aus der Zeit gefallen scheint.
Die Classic 350 gibt es in einer ganzen Reihe unterschiedlicher Stylings. Nach Europa kommen soll die Royal Enfield Classic 350 im nächsten Jahr. Der Preis steht noch nicht fest, dürfte aber irgendwo zwischen 4000 und 4500 Euro liegen. (aum)
